About Teddy Yap
Dr. Teddy Yap is a board-certified internist and co-founder of Red Canyon Medical Clinic, where he serves as Chief Medical Officer and practicing clinician. He brings over 17 years of clinical experience to the organization, with a career rooted in high-acuity hospital medicine across some of the country's most respected healthcare systems.
Dr. Yap earned his medical degree from Cebu Doctor's University College of Medicine in the Philippines and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at both Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu and Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Yap has served across major healthcare systems in Arizona, Ohio, and California, including over a decade as a hospitalist with SHARP Rees-Stealy Medical Group — one of the largest multi-specialty groups in Southern California.
